With over two decades of teaching experience and a lifetime immersed in the world of dance, Cori Moody is the passionate force behind Roseville Academy of Dance. Her love for dance began at just 2 years old, and she’s been sharing that love ever since—teaching for more than 23 years and impacting thousands of students along the way.
Before founding RAD in 2015, Cori built a dynamic career teaching and directing at several well-established studios throughout California. She toured nationally for four years with a dance convention, teaching classes across the country and connecting with dancers of all ages and backgrounds. Her experience also includes four years as a competition judge for three major national dance competition companies, giving her unique insight into both the technical and artistic sides of the competitive world. Cori also performed professionally—dancing in halftime shows, on cruise ships, and at amusement parks—before discovering that her heart belonged in the studio, helping young dancers grow and thrive.
Cori launched Roseville Academy of Dance with one clear goal: to build a community-first studio where every dancer feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Her mission is to use dance as a vehicle for personal growth, helping children develop not just strong technique, but also confidence, character, and a lifelong love of learning. She believes dance is a powerful tool that teaches perseverance, teamwork, creativity, and self-worth—and she’s deeply committed to helping each student discover their full potential.
Cori is a proud Roseville resident, wife, a mom to two energetic boys, a dog mom, a dance mom, and a sports mom. She understands the balance of busy family life and is dedicated to making RAD a welcoming and flexible space for all. You’ll often find her in the classroom (where she loves to be most) or behind the scenes at RAD—camera in hand—capturing memories, filming special moments, and cheering on her dancers with heartfelt enthusiasm and genuine pride. And of course, she’s rarely without a coffee or soda in hand as she pours her heart into every detail of studio life.
Fun Fact: Cori loves coffee ice cream, and once got stung by a jellyfish while swimming in the ocean—ouch!
She’s incredibly thankful that you’re part of the RAD family and can’t wait to share the magic of dance with you!

Instructor and Office Assistant:
Rosa began dancing at 12 years old and quickly fell in love with the art form. She trained in ballet, jazz, and lyrical/contemporary—and discovered her passion for contemporary dance, drawn to its power to tell stories and express deep emotion through movement.
Rosa is a proud RAD alum! She trained right here at Roseville Academy of Dance, where she was a dedicated member of the competition team. During high school, she continued to grow her artistry as part of the IB Dance Program and gave back to the community as a student teacher for younger-level classes, developing both her leadership and love for working with children.
Now returning to RAD as an instructor, Rosa is excited to be on the other side—guiding and inspiring the next generation of dancers. Her goal is to pass on the same passion, encouragement, and love for dance that her own teachers poured into her. She is committed to creating a positive, inclusive space for every student and looks forward to learning and growing alongside her dancers every step of the way.
